Who is this retreat for?

This retreat is for all authors and aspiring authors who are feeling nudged by God to write their story. We are creating a safe, supportive space to learn more about the writing blocks holding us back and the action steps to get started during our time together.

What is included in the retreat?

We have got you covered! We will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday and Sunday, as well as, providing the location for the activities as the retreat. The only thing you will need is to find a local hotel or Airbnb in Redding and a way to get there.

What if I’ve never written a book before?

No problem. You don’t have to be a published author to write your first book. Every writer needs to start somewhere, and this retreat is a great place to build the confidence to begin to write your story.

What if I’ve already started writing my story? Is this retreat for me?

Yes, absolutely. Even if you’ve started to jot down some thoughts or have started your first draft, you’ll get expert advice from a publisher, an author mindset coach, and other experts in the writing field (plus a community of other spirit-filled authors!) to get you out of the slump of inaction and actually writing!

Who will be there?

In addition to other Square Tree authors, I'm working on getting some of the core Square Tree team to be there to help you in your writing. Plus...you'll finally get to meet them in person! There is something special about being in the room with other writers.
